The IVDT Data Logger Kit includes the data logger, a logger mounting assembly (for mounting the logger magnetically, with adhesive or wth 3 screws),  and PC software for logger configuration and post logging analysis and reporting.

SPECTRUM WIRELESS MONITOR SYSTEMS

 

Spectrum Instruments' family of advanced wireless monitoring systems support a wide variety of analog inputs. Models are capable of acquiring up to 3, 7 or 28 vibration channels containing frequencies from DC up to 20 KHz.  Data  from 6 to 42 additional channels of process variables can also be acquired. Low resolution sensors such as cold junction thermocouples are amplified with an internal temperature compensation board supporting both J and K type thermocouplesVibration data is acquired simultaneously in groups of three(3), seven(7) or twinty eight(28) channels depending on the model selected.

KEY FEATURES

For vibration configured channels, a standard 20V/4ma current is provided for biasing accelerometers.  This bias voltage can be disabled to allow direct AC inputs from other devices such as proximity probes.

Spectrum's wireless monitoring system communicates back to the base station via a long range Spread Spectrum 900 MHz radio.  An optional WLAN communication (802.11B or 802.11G) is available for higher speed, shorter range applications.

Wireless data is managed by Pathfinder Software Suite; Pathfinder software receives and manages incoming data from multiple Spectrum field modules (TS-1X etc), performs an open-architecture archiving function, generates operator interface bar graphs, and provides advanced analytical tools such as windows for FFTs, waterfalls, orbits, trends, real time waveforms as well as Bode and Nyquist plots.

Spectrum Instruments' optional "TRANSLATOR" software allows vibration data captured by it's field module and stored in the Pathfinder Software Suite to be transferred to ANY brand name data collector for downloaiding / archiving into a plant's existing vibration based PM software program.  This allows the customer to analyze machine data captured by Spectum's system with his own PM software that he is familiar with while at the same time, embedding new data supplementing existing historical data for improved condition trending.   Our "TRANSLATOR" software means no new software to learn!

'Storm-X' Battery Operated Wireless Transmitter

The Storm-X Battery Operated Wireless Transmitter is an advanced machine mounted wireless monitoring system.   Storm-X is a totally integrated package that includes a triaxial vibration sensor (x,Y,X axis) and machine temperature sensor.  It is capable of sampling 3 channels of analog data at rates up to 20Khz.  An extender port supports up to 4 additional single axis vibration signals and up to 6 channels of DC data (process signals). 

The vibration channesl provide a standard 20V/4ma current feed for biasing accelerometers.  The bias voltage can be disable to all direct AC inputs from other devices such as proximity probes.

This wireless unit communicates back the base system via long range 900Mhz radio.

'TS-1X' Wireless Data Collector

The 'TS-1X' unit is an advanced wireless monitoring system supporting a wide variety of analog inputs.  It is capable of sampling 7 channels of analog data at rates up to 160Khz, and 6 channels of DC data.  A seamless connection for process inputs is provided for the 'TS-1X' via the Thermal Amplifier where external sensors such as cold juntion thermocouples, or RTD's are amplified and condtioned.

The vibration channesl provide a standard 20V/4ma current feed for biasing accelerometers.  The bias voltage can be disable to all direct AC inputs from other devices such as proximity probes.

This wireless unit communicates back the base system via long range 900Mhz radio.  An optional WLAN communication  (802.11G) for higher speed shorter range applications is also available.

'TS-28X High Capacity Data Collector

The 'TS-28X' unit is an advanced wireless monitoring system that aggregates 28 channels of vibration.  It includes 24 input channels for process signals, and 4 Tachometer channel inputs - all  in a small foot print of 16.5 x 5.5 x 2.5"

For AC/vibration channels, the 'TS-28X' is capable of sampling 7 channels of analog data at rates up to 20 Khz simultaneiously.  Four groups of 7 vibration inputs are sampled in turn providing a total aggregation of 28 vibration channels. 

For DC/process channels, four groups of 6 DC inputs are sampled in turn, providing aggregation of 24 DC channels. 

Two tachometer inputs can be assigned to the AC/vibration channels to capture machine speed.

WAM Ethernet Bridge

 

'EB' Ethernet Bridge

The Ethernet-USB Bridge is used to provide access to the TS-1X' units via an Ethernet or USB connection.  The Bridge uses 900 Mhz radio signals to communicate with 'TSI-1X' units.  An Ethernet connection (10/100) provides an IP Interface to the 'TS-1X' server (running on a Windows PC).  The Bridge can also be directly connected via USB to a windows PC running the 'TS-1X' server.

The Ethernet-USB Bricge comes in three sku options:

 

Ethernet-USB Bridge.............includes both Ethernet and USB connections

Ethernet/POE-USB Bridge.......includes both Ethernet and USB connections and POE

USB Bridge..........................USB connection only

 

 

 

'Translator'

Translator provides a convenient interface to place data to 3rd party analyzers such as CSI, SKF, Entek, Technekon and others.  This allows a seamless input into legacy system for long term hisotorian and trending purposes.  The Translator is user configurable so that only data points currently in the legacy system are inputed.

Data Transfer Module

The Data Transfer Module provides an easy mechanism to import process data or derived waveform parametrs into existing plant systems with 4-20ma process inputs such as DCS systems.  The outputs are derived from daa collected by the TS-1X wireless data collector, and typically come from physical equipment such as switches, pumps, sensors and valves.  The Data Transfer Module provides 32 channels of 4-20ma data output.

The Thermo-RTD Module provies six channels of signal conditioning and amplification for DC sensors.  The Thermo-RTD Module directly connects to a TS-1X wireless monitoring system;  The buffered amplifier output can be read by a standard voltmeter or applied to a system that accepts DC inputs

Software Suite provides real time monitoring, and data historian, and trending capabilty.  Frequency domain analysis is facilitated by advanced analysis features to mark critical frequencies, harmoics, and sidebands:  data can be displayed in a veriety of scales and units.

MODBUS INTERFACE allows Pathfinder to to share data with other devices that are MODBUS compliant.

BEARING DATABASE - a complete database of common bearings supports advanced analysis features of Pathfinder.
