Low Profile (Side Connection) Accelerometers

Low profile accelerometers offer many advantages over top-connector style accelerometers; the lower profile effectively eliminates the connector / cable dimension from the combined height of the mounting magnet, sensor and connector / cable assembly used for periodic analysis. Measurements can now be performed more easily in tight places such as between drive and driven equipment. In permanently mounted applications, the low profile sensor offers more mounting flexibility while allowing the installer to position the cable exit from the sensor in the most desirable direction.
